Name: Unknown
Breed & Species: Unknown cat
Colour: Black

Found: over a year ago
(11 December 2022 at around 12:00hrs)
Location: Roseholme, Maidstone ME16 8DT, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 3 years old (approx)
Sex: Female
Collar: No
Microchipped: No
Markings: Has a small white patch on her chest. Yellow/greeny eyes.
Circumstances: She was in the garden eating mealworms, it's freezing outside. We bought her in and she's skin and bone, we can only assume she's been lost for a while. She ate 3 pouches of cat food. She's very affectionate. No owner has come forward. She's very small, all black with a tiny white patch on the chest. We can't keep her as we already have a cat, our cat is not friendly towards any other cats.
Other info: We found this young female, 11/12/22, no more than a year old, eating mealworms I'd put out for the birds. She is very, very thin, just skin and bone really. We took her in as it was freezing. She was starving. We've kept her with us for now but can't keep her as we already have a female cat and she's very territorial, growling and hissing at the young cat so we've had to keep them separate. So far no owner has come forward. I'll try to post some photos. We don't drive so any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, our cat has been missing from South Wales for about ten days now. He is a neutered male, any chance it could be him? He’s approx 12 months old.

Aw how gorgeous well i spoke to the neighbour next to where the young cat run away -it is called Mia and is microchipped if you could take her to the vet and check if she does not answer to Mia or is not the cat and you cannot keep her [last chance] animal sanctuary might take her. if i was down to a few cats i would love to spoil her rotten for the rest of her life but i have too many i keep them separate each group that gets on is out for 12 hours works very well r

Hi jools, so sorry but she doesn't appear to be your neighbours cat. We did take her to the vet's the day we found her and she ISN'T microchipped. She doesn't answer to Mia either. Sorry, hope your neighbour's cat returns, just out of interest is there a picture of her missing cat on this site, and if so, what is the reference number? missing ca

We've adopted this young female, she has been in our care since the moment we found her eating bird food on a freezing, snowy Sunday afternoon. Has clearly been abandoned or dumped. No potential owner has ever come forward. She is now ours where she is much loved, warm, well fed and lovingly looked after. She was meant to be with us.
