Lost dog: Black and Tan dog called Derek - Maidenhead area, Berkshire

Age:	12 years old (approx)
Sex:	Neutered Male
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	He is majorly black/dark brown short fur but has a white strip down his chest
Circumstances:	Our little black chihuahua cross, Derek, ran away from a house off the Monkey Island Estate in Maidenhead. The back door mustn’t have been closed properly when we went to have a drink in the hotel for 30mins at 3.30pm. When we came back at 4pm, we found the back door open and dogs missing. Luckily our elder dog, Floss, was found by the neighbouring house, however Derek (who is more anxious around strangers) was not. He is still missing, and we fear his nervous character as well as the unfamiliar environment will make it harder for him to find safety. Please, if you find/spot him, don’t hesitate to contact me. We miss and love him very much. Thank you.
Other info:	He has some grey hairs emerging, particularly around his face. His chin/around his snout area is also pretty grey.

After numerous days searching on a field where Derek had been sighted, my mum managed to find him and bring him safely back home with the generous help of several Lost Dog organisations and volunteers. We are so so grateful for everyone who helped us in a quest to bring Derek back home to safety.
