LOST
Bootsy
Name: Bootsy
Breed & Species: Unknown cat
Colour: Black and white
SimpleColour:
Went missing: over a year ago
(21 December 2022 at around 21:00hrs)
Location: Woodbine Terrace, Headingley, Leeds LS6 4AF, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 6 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: White marking down the middle of his face, very fluffy white chest. Black legs but with white paws
Circumstances: He got let outside the backyard for some fresh air as he usually likes being outside for a bit at night. Got called to come back in before my mum & her boyfriend went to bed but he didn’t come so they left it till the morning when he usually shows up waiting outside the door. Still no sign of him & even days later he did not show up. He just never came back which is unusual for him because he always does. Which makes me think he has got lost or stuck somewhere.
Other info: Big greenish eyes and a very busy tail. White fluffy tummy and white paws.

We heard some loud meowing last night coming from outside. It sounded a lot like my cat bootsy so we went to open the door to check and turns out it was my cat! He was waiting to come in & was a bit nervous at the start but was happy to be welcomed to his owners, his dog and cat brother and sister and a bowl of treats. Back paws were a bit dirty and he seemed a bit skinnier/bony due to probably not having any food for about a week. It wasn’t like him to not come back as he always does so we think he accidentally got shut in someone’s shed/garage when they went away over Christmas! He’s well and safe back home which is all that matters😊.
