Circumstances:	Stranded on the central reservation of the A14 between the train station junction and hospital junction. He/she was meowing in the central reservation, but by the time my partner and I had managed to get back to it, it had been run over.

why u didn t take in a vet for a chip scanned ?

Because it was in the central reservation of a dual carriage way and there was no safe way of stopping to get him/her. The local council were made aware, so they could retrieve it safely.

I understand that, but council doesn't scan chip. The council are bad with dead animals, they throw in a rabbish. Vet scan chip.

Also I had to call council many times for a dead fox in my area but they never come to collect the dead fox.
