I have seen a cat like this recently in my and my neighbour’s garden since shortly before or after New year but perhaps a bit thinner. He looks so much like my cat that I and my neighbour have been fooled into thinking it’s my cat. But her look a like is quite a tall cat with a long tail. Seen in the gardens behind Church Stretton Road and may go into gardens behind Lyncroft Gardens perhaps. I'd certainly guess he's male

I've sent the photo to my neighbour so I think they'd let me know if they agree that they think it's the same cat or if they see him again. I'm not 100% convinced this is your cat of course because I am not sure if the nose area is the same, but I'd suggest walking down the street in the mid to late evening when it's quiet with treats bag to shake and call his name. It might be worth walking down 'our' side of Central Avenue and down the left side of Lyncroft as well. You won't lose anything by trying I guess. Late one evening about Jan 2nd the cat I have seen a few times was sitting on their store roof in the evening which is close to the side of the house and drive. I do hope you find him. I live on the right side of Church Stretton Road as you walk down it as does my neighbour. Shaking treats flushed my cat out once when she was quite new to us and escaped. She is not an adventurer though and hadn't gone far.
