Lost cat: Black and white cat called Momo - Innerleithen area, Scottish Borders

Markings:	Very short white legs. Symmetrical white blaze on head.
Circumstances:	I took her on after the death of my old cat and she has only been with me ten days. She has been contained within the house and seemed settled and content. I started to take her outside with me for very brief periods just in the last day or two and, each time, she headed straight back inside. Last night she asked to go through to the back porch to use her litter tray, which she did. I went on out through the back door and failed to shut it fully. Her little paws had it open in an instant and, as I came back from the shed which holds my freezer, she burst out, tail in the air and ran off in the direction of the fields. I dived inside for a torch but failed to see her and she did not come to my calling. I searched for half an hour and gave up, leaving food and a warm box with her sleeping rug in the shed. There was no sign of her last night or this morning, so I am assuming she is trying to head back to Edinburgh. I have alerted neighbours here and a Mike away in the village but spreading the net wider might help.
