Hello. To the person who found the cat: if you can, please take the cat to your nearest vet (Donaldson's, for example) for a microchip scan. They will also put up a missing cat flyer at their practice.

Thank you Angela. If I can manage to get near enough, or tempt it into the cat box, I will do so. I will prepare a flyer to put in the vets.

This cat was around again last night - it appears every 2 days or so, sometimes in company of a larger short haired black & white one - possibly its mother from the noises they make calling each other. I gave it a bowl of food but it still won't let me get anywhere near it.

No sightings in the past week, so if no more in another week I will close the report.

No further sightngs for 2 weeks - maybe it was a cat newly moved into the area who was finding its territory?
