It sounds as though your cat may well have got locked into someone else's premises if no access to the street, if so he will be mighty hungry when he gets home. I hope he comes back soon you must be beside yourself with worry. Try to stay calm and keep calling him to let him know your there and listen out to hear him if he calls back then at least you may find out if hes in a neighbours place. good luck.
