Location: Squirrel Walk, Fforest, Pontarddulais, Swansea SA4 0UH, UK
Health: Healthy
Age:
Sex: Unknown
Collar: No
Microchipped: Not sure
Circumstances: He came into the garden at first, friendly and then started to come in through the cat flap and sleeping in the house. We have not fed him as yet, he seems to just want to come in to sleep in a quiet part of the house. He’s healthy I think but underweight.
Other info: This friendly tabby has been coming into our house for the last couple of days through the cat flap. Believe it’s a male. At first thought he was feral but he’s very friendly. Not as yet checked if he has a micro chip. Found in Forest, pontarddulais.

Hi. I think probably NOT a match with our missing tabby at that distance, but hard to be sure from one photo in that position. Would you mind looking at photos of our missing tabby boy cat Billy, please, to see whether key points of identification match? I would attach photos here, but I don't think that's possible. If you look on Facebook page LOST AND FOUND PETS ABERDEEN/ABERDEENSHIRE, not too far from the top is our post (under pseudonym of Johnny Fitzgerald-Gingerly) entitled 'Lost Tabby Boy Cat Billy.' Five photos show main points of identification, such as small white bib on throat/upper chest with two dark stripes coming out of each side, white under chin, small white 'moustache' under nose, but not going all the way down to lip, dusky pink nose with slightly gingery fur just above, green eyes. He also has a very small nick out of the edge of each ear. He is neutered and microchipped with chip details kept up to date. I think I can see a difference in markings on the front right leg of your found cat, but not entirely sure at that angle. If you could message us from FB post, that would be good. Failing that, please see contact details on FB post. Thanks - Ian & Lorraine.

Hi I’m not sure if you saw on the post but I’m located in Swansea, Wales. Hope you do find him

Hi. Yes, I saw the location, but it’s not unknown for cats to turn up hundreds of miles away if they hitch a ride or get taken. Just checking any cats that look familiar enough unless microchip has been read, which would remove any doubt.

Ah yes see what you mean. I did have a double check and don’t think it is him. The cat we’ve found doesn’t have a white bib and no nick on the ears. Sorry about that. Again hope you find him
