Hi, there has been some feedback to my posting for Toby in the Facebook group 'The Real Low Fell Local'. A lady living on Shipcote Terrace (close by)- Karen Mullinder - has a cat that looks similar, visiting her house. Karen has two cats of her own and says this cat was hungry, so she gave it some food. Here's the link to the group and posting: https://www.facebook.com/groups/222366528109098/1150277441984664/?comment_id=1150321325313609&notif_id=1587641357045644&notif_t=group_comment

Further responses to a similar posting of Toby in 'MISSING AND FOUND CATS (North-East)' Facebook group include comments via Kelly Hillary (who saw a tabby and white cat at the junction of Alexandra and Whitehall Road yesterday morning - and opposite Caedmon School last week (Kelly has posted a little map of her sighting to the group, via the link below). Additionally, Adele Pickford has posted just beneath Kelly's comments a photo of an RSPCA lampost flyer re. another cat, see via the same link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/449814971832524/1606795932801083/?comment_id=1606829722797704&notif_id=1587641472513958&notif_t=group_comment link:

The RSPCA flyer was posted in Warkworth Close and apparently shared to a Washington Group first (NE38) so is PERHAPS a less likely match than the former - Kelly's sighting and Karen Mullinder's sighting above that.

The RSPCA flyer (apparently at Warkworth Close, Washington) also rather specifies 'a tortoiseshell cat with a blue flea collar'.

Karen Mullinder has compared the photo above with the cat she's feeding and feels the head markings are NOT the same cat. However, Kelly Hillary has sighted a similar cat (PLEASE CHECK here comments via above link).

This looks very similar to a cat that was struck by a car outside my house on Saltwell Rd on 21st March. Sadly it died and I took It to Blythman Partners Vets to see if they could find a chip. It didn’t have a collar on though and I’ve seen it outside my house many times before without a collar

If it was April when it went missing then it must be a different one. Blythman said they would keep it for 4 weeks before sending for cremation. I have a photo of the one that was killed if there was a way of sending it for confirmation?
