Cat (cat) went missing on 17 June 2019. He was found on Wed 24 July 2019, after being reported by NHS medical staff at a local mental health centre some 3 miles away from home, to the RSPCA. The RSPCA Inspector carried out a microchip scan (on-site) which helped to confirm our contact details. Whilst Colin does not appear to have sustained any injuries, he has lost approx a 1/3rd of his body weight. A visit to the Vets for a full MOT has been booked. Lots of love, cuddles and special treats order of the day! This case clearly illustrates the importance of having your cat microchipped and ensuring that your contact details are kept up to date with the Microchip Company, especially after a house move and/or change of contact telephone/mobile number.
