Marty has been found! I was contacted Wednesday afternoon by Daan Verduijn a member of crew onboard the Sospan Dau. The ship was anchored 300m off Sovereign Harbour for a change of crew Thursday at midday. They have looked after him so well and we shall be eternally grateful. I contacted James at Tate Marine who was really kind and found out which boat was picking up the crew. The skipper of the Halcyon, Graham was amazing and kept me updated and was also extremely kind. Marty is now home and is very relieved! He got straight into his cage and ate millet. He is tired but unscathed from his adventure. We have aged considerably and cannot believe how lucky we are to get him home. Thank you to everyone who shared my post and offered words of kindness and to my neighbours who were so supportive, in particular Tania, who accompanied me trying to find him when I first lost him. Thank you everyone, it is a mini miracle. Vanessa, Peter, Helena & Roger x
