Circumstances: Cat had been helping itself to my cats food via catflap in kitchen door normally very quietly during evening or during night. For how long this particular cat has been coming I don't know because other local cats had been doing it earlier. The stray was obviously hungry and desperate because it was still trying to get in with my cats defending catflap! Once I realised it was a stray in trouble I have for past week+ been feeding it outside on patio. I also put a box with bedding in shared covered alleyway and buikt it a temporary shelter with bedding on pario which I've seen it using at night . It originally had very weepy eyes particukarly it's LYS eye but this seems to have improved over past few daya.

Cat taken to local vet . NO chip found however established that it is a female cat and vet estimates 12-13 years old. She had very bad conjunctivitis which was untreated causing ulcers. Vet gave her an antibiotic injection and eye drops twice daily and after 1 weeks her eyes much improved. No enquiries yet about this lovely natured obviously very domesticated cat
