Circumstances:	The cat had just been attacked and killed in the street by a very large brown dog. The dog looked like a brown Great Dane type breed.

I have seen this cat frequently around my garden and in the general area so I do know he lives nearby but I don't know who he belongs to.

The ginger cat has been taken to Northlands Vet, George St, Corby. Unfortunately there was no microchip and the cat was not wearing a collar.

The cat had died of its injuries immediately after being attacked by a large dog. The cat was taken to Northlands Veterinary, George Street, Corby where it was checked to see if the cat had a microchip and if we could contact the pets owners, unfortunately the it didn't have a microchip or a collar and therefore no further action could be taken.
