Location: Gin Lane, Chesterfield S45 0EZ, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 5 years old (approx)
Sex: Female
Collar: No
Microchipped: No
Markings: None
Circumstances: I found the cat in our garden which is very large and rural. She is very friendly and kept following me. I have put her details on Ashover Village FB page and many folk said they have seen her around the area in past few weeks. We are feeding her but she is sleeping outside as we have a dog. She would like to come inside! I have taken her to Matt Smith's vet practise in Clay Cross this morning and she has no microchip. They say all rehoming places are full at present so I will keep feeding her until a home can be found.

The cat is being fostered with an experienced cat lady at Brackenfield and on the 17th June she was checked to see if she was spayed and the vet found a scar in the right place. She has now been chipped, de-flead and wormed. I have three offers of rehoming from people so am checking these out.

The foster lady who has been looking after 'Rivka' as she has been named on her microchip record, has found a home for her locally with someone she knows whose cat has recently died.
