Is the date correct? Missing one month? Was Waffle stolen? Have you put Waffle on Doglost and reported to lost dog dept of Battersea? Watch out for hoax callers on this site too.

Hi everyone thanks for your responses. Yes waffle has been missing for a month. I’ve tried to contact various kennels/rescue centres but I can never get through. What happened was that waffle was let off the lead by my sister (who has severe mental health), she didn’t have the ability to find him and now we think he may have been found and kept as he is so lovely

Battersea website have a page you can upkoad your lost dog details. Doglost co uk have an excellent website. Did you check with the microchip database to see if Waffle is still chipped to you? If was found and the chip was out of date they can rehome after 7 days. https://www.battersea.org.uk/pet-advice/lost-and-found-dog-advice/report-lost-or-found-animal Battersea always call back if you leave a number on their lost dog line. 020 7627 9245 Lambeth is hard to reach on a weekend but the dog warden will call back if you leave a message.

A friend of mine has texted and called the number to see if she can help but she didn’t get any response. Is that the right number?
