Name:	Alfie
Breed & Species:	Domestic Shorthair (DSH) cat
Colour:	Black
Went missing:	7 years ago (19 January 2017 at around 20:00hrs)
Location:	Whitehouse Lane, Chipping Norton, UK
Age:	8 years old
Sex:	Male
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	A few white whiskers. A few white fur flecks at the tip of his tail.
Circumstances:	He went out at 8.00pm through his cat flap after eating some food. I called to him at 9.00pm and 10.00pm but he was nowhere to be seen in the garden or in the neighbours' gardens. He had not returned by the following morning. His collar and tag containing his name and my phone number was found in a garden in Whitehouse Lane a approximately 150 metres to the south of our home. The collar and tag was returned to me on the evening of January 20th.
Other info:	Alfie responds to his name. His collar was found north of his home in Chipping Norton the day after he went missing. He has probably wandered to the north of the town centre.

We did extensive searching with no success and distributed some posters. Thankfully Alfie eventually found his own way home safely and uninjured.
