LOST CAT: Silver/Grey Tabby cat called Atari - Cheltenham area, Gloucestershire

LOST
Atari
Name: Atari
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Silver/Grey Tabby
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 4 years ago
(14 September 2019 at around 07:00hrs)
Location: Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham GL52 8YG, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: Light grey
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Tabby with prominent stripes on legs and tail. Slightly chipped tooth.
Circumstances: We always let him out on a Saturday morning around 7-7:30am. He goes out, and comes home within an hour or two, 3 at the most for breakfast. He’ll always come home for food, then go back out, never usually for more than 3 hours at a time. We let him out on Sat 14th Sep about 7:30am as per usual, but he’s not been home since. This is very unusual for him. He’s been out overnight before, but has always been at the door first thing demanding his breakfast. The fact he hasn’t come back for food for over 24 hours now is very out of character.
Other info: Last seen wearing a light grey ‘Serestos’ collar, although it does have a quick release function. Quite curious but also nervous around people he doesn’t know, and will scratch if alarmed. Yellow-green eyes, silver tabby with prominent black stripes on his legs and tail. Slight gingery-brown patch on his belly.

***STILL MISSING*** Possible sighting near Meadoway in Bishops Cleeve

I was in Bishops Cleeve cemetery this morning and there was a thinnish darkish tabby wandering around. Fur was shorter, no collar. Was cautiously friendly. I did have my camera in the car but by the time I got it, the cat had wandered off after a bird. It did look very happy.

Thank you Jane. Atari is still missing. We did follow up previous reports of a similar tabby in the cemetery but when we found it it wasn’t him. If you’re able to take a picture and send it to me I might be able to identify him. My number is 07856506729

I’ll go for a walk there with my camera after my lunch has gone down. I’ll take some Dreamies as I seem to remember he likes them. When I first saw the cat it was enjoying itself under a car, and being a cat lover, I was trying to make friends with it. Later on it came to me for a quick stroke, tried to jump on my car, slid off, then wandered off after a bird. It was only after that I remembered about the missing kitty. I think this one is a boy.

Thank you so much for thinking of Atari. It really means the world.

Didn’t see ‘him’ when I went round this afternoon. I’m going there a fair bit during my enforced break from work and will take camera and Dreamies with me each time. When I saw ‘him’ earlier I think there was a golden colouring mixed in with the tabby markings.
