Markings:	Small & thin. Very friendly & talkative
Circumstances:	Sammy was being looked after by a friend whilst we were away for 1 week. He is an elderly homely cat who spends a lot of the day sleeping indoors or in the garden. He has a catflap. She was visiting him twice daily to check on him & feed him. She had done this for 5 days & he was fine, but on the Wed he was not at his home & has not been seen since. It was the first time he has ever gone missing & we are so upset & worried. Neighbours have been alerted & their gardens & sheds checked. He is a very friendly cat who likes his creature comforts & who could have gone into someone elses house.

A lady knocked on the door checking if anyone had lost a black cat. She had taken him for a few days in as he was found wandering near her home. His name & phone number had come detached from his collar. Sammy was in good condition & health. He is my partners cat & he is now arranging to get him microchipped. We are so relieved. I had done the report for Pets Reunited on behalf of my partner Andy who has Huntingdons Disease. He lives alone with Sammy & his cat means the world to him. I’m not exactly sure where Sammy was found. (I’m based in London & not living there). Andy does not think the lady had seen the Pets Reunited report & am sorry Im not exactly sure where Sammy was found. We are just so happy & relieved Sammy is home safe & sound.
