Markings:	He has a small slit in the top of his left ear, probably caused by a previous fight or injury when he was younger. It creates a slight zig-zag effect to the top of his ear.
Circumstances:	He was let out by our cat-sitter/friend at half eight. We had been away for the sunday day/night and she had been letting him in at night and out in the morning after giving him food for the day. He hadn't eaten much but that isn't unusual - some days he's hungrier than others. We arrived back at about 6pm and he didn't appear for his dinner as he normally would. He's an adventurous, active cat for his 14-year-old age and is outdoor/indoor. So he does like an explore. He also likes running into other people's houses when he can, so it is possible that he has slipped into a house or shed and got locked in (this has happened before). He may also be getting fed by another family nearby - he's friendly! He loves lying on top of bins also.
Other info:	Kal-El is a black domestic short hair with yellow eyes that have a green-ish tint to them. He also has distinctive grey hair in his ears and in a line around the back of his neck. He has some flecks of grey in the rest of his fur, particularly in a small patch near his bum and on the back of his back legs. He's a medium sized cat - not overweight but not super skinny either.

Kal-el returned unharmed but hungry. He was either wandering or got accidentally trapped somewhere for a couple of days. He has settled back in fine.
