Circumstances:	He repeatedly came into our garden and is now living in our greenhouse. My housemates gave him food and attention as they thought he was homeless, this is likely what made him keep coming back, we just hope he isn’t homeless as we cannot keep him! He used to leave the garden but now remains there all day and night.

Hi can you take the cat to the vet to scan for a microchip. It’s free to do that and you can uaually borrow a cat carrier from a local vet for a refundable deposit. Also if he does start to leave then put a paper collar on him asking owner to call you.
