How upsetting for you given you just rehomerd him. Speak to London Animal Hospital in Camberwell in case he gets taken there but is likely even though displaced that he has stayed close by. Some people think they try to make it back to their previous home so might be worth postering to both areas. Make your own report to Battersea via their website as you get a reference number. Celia Hammond Trust Lewisham lots of cats end up there. Let the chip company know he is missing too. Make friends with neighbours where he went missing - door knock and flyers. I find if you speak to people more likely to look. Posters are important too. I hope you find him.

Thanks so.much. Yes posters up in both areas but I agree, it's likely he is still close by. I saw an ad saying fatally injured tabby taken to Animal Hospital, Camberwell on East Dulwich Forum last night and freaked.Thank God, it wasn't him, the microchip didn't match so they have details. Will follow all you suggest, thanks for your concern and support.

Tinker suddenly returned to his new home after 6 weeks missing!! He was very thin but unharmed and vet thinks he must have got trapped somewhere. He is recovering well from his ordeal and we are all thrilled. Thank you if you looked out for him.
