Circumstances:	There were lots of fireworks and we haven't seen him since
Other info:	Quite striking looking face, small, nervous

Hi. If anyone calls you saying they are fom the animal rescue etc and ask you for a holding fee ignore them. It is a scam. They tried it on with me. I will look for Nico on my morning walk around burton road.Paul

Good point, I heard about this. Awful that there are always people who'll try to take advantage of a sad situation in this way - but grateful there are helpful people like you too!

Paul thank you for the warning. I am trying to warn people but I can’t keep up. I don’t know why Petsreunited aren’t making it prominent on their website. Doglost and Petslocated both put out warnings. It was even a feature on Rip Off Britain. :(

Have shared on Twitter. The advice is to check your microchip details are up to date. They can flag your cat as missing. You can report to Battersea online or by phone. Medivet Camberwell is 24 hr vet so worth checking there. Also NextDoor is a useful way to reach your neighbours.

He was found but nothing to do with pets reunited - a neighbour just found him, he'd been hit by a car but is okay now after surgery
