Circumstances: first saw the cat on the 27th May, lots of cats on the street but never saw this cat before, since spotted twice more and then this evening found in the front garden looking for food.
Other info: cat is very affectionate and seeks human contact, rubs up against you meows for attention, has followed me once ive stroked it and has now turned up outside the house a few times. Seems very young (kitten possibly 3-6months) have seen it sniffing around bins. No collar. Heard crying outside so seems lost. have opened the door where it's come into the house (so able to take a picture - and was sniffing everywhere and i encouraged it to leave) does not seem a stray.

Olivia there are a few things you can try. Put a paper collar on asking owner to call you. If that doesn’t work take to a vet to get a free scan for a microchip. They will loan you a cat carrier for a refundable deposit. Upload details to Battersea via their website and email them a photo to cross check any lost cats. Add to some more websites for free inc petslocated. Hope that helps.
