Markings:	Distinctive thin white stripe down the middle of his nose.
Circumstances:	He was let out of our house at 4pm on Tuesday 22nd December for his usual outing to go to the toilet and have a wander. Normally he goes out for an hour or two and comes back in, but he did not reappear that night or the following morning. Around the time he was let out, one of our neighbours had some tree surgeons round who were making a fair amount of noise, which might have spooked him. We have been out looking for him since, and calling his name but had no luck. This is out of character of him as he is usually keen to be indoors especially when the weather is poor. He may have gone to find shelter overnight and become trapped in a garage or a shed. We do not think he was stolen as he is timid and unlikely to approach or follow a stranger voluntarily, but there is aways a possibility. We would urge anyone in this postcode and local area to have a look in their gardens, sheds, garages, homes and any other structures where a cat might have been able to sneak in and hide.
Other info:	He is a timid, slim/slender neutered male cat. He has a black body & tail, white paws and white chest/bib. In particular, he has a distinctive white stripe down the middle of his nose. He is microchipped but does not wear a collar.

There is a black and white cat around us Woolley Terrace area. He/she has a white spot on nose but other wise very similar. I can send photos of that would help
