Not sighted, but suggest you post on all pets lost sites, like animals lost and found Dorset, also CAT PROTECTION SOCIETY BOURNEMOUTH as they are excellent in helping finding lost cats. And please put up POSTERS in the area. Not everyone is on social media, especially the elderly who are most likely of all to feed a stray rather than taking it to the nearest vet to see if it has a chip. Good luck, beautiful cat, hope she gets home soon. Oh, and your dirty laundry front and back of house, and on fence posts believe it or not will help greatly to help her smell her way home...! On a less happy note, it's possible she was hit by a car and taken as road kill by a fox, or taken to a local vet or the warden called, so ensure you check with the warden and local vets. Hopefully she has just gotten lost and is being fed elsewhere and if you put out the laundry, post on more sites and especially put up posters as well, you will find her. I had a lost cat sneaking in and eating my cats' food for 2.5 months as it turned out, once I realised he was back with his mum within a couple of weeks (contacted CPS, scanned him, they contacted her, she made a couple of visits to catch him, as he was wary by now, but then he was happily back at home), so it's still possible! Good luck and best wishes with getting your cat safely back home.

Thanks Joanne, I have registered Mia with pretty much every lost/found cat social media site across Dorset/Hants and nationally. I have knocked doors, posted flyers and pinned posters...following all the great tips kindly offered by well-wishers. As much as I refuse to give up on Mia, I know that there is a strong possibility that Mia may have been run over and taken by foxes. Every day I start hopeful in that she may have become lost and that sooner or later she will return or be found. But by the end of the day, I feel desolate as it’s another day ending without my little shadow sleeping at the foot of the bed. ??

It's the not knowing that must be so awful. I hope very much she returns safe and sound to you.

It’s been 11 months since Mia disappeared without any sightings. Not a day goes by without thinking of her and hoping that she’ll be found. ????
