Circumstances:	He was out as usual in our back yard on the fence and went off and never returned since.
Other info:	Slight cowlick-like fur on his nose where the hair grows in a different direction and is a bit darker than rest of his nose fur.

Was mistaken for another cat and homed by a lady close by, found my post on facebook and apologised and safely returned him.
