Hi, a lady reported on Next door about a very similar cat living 'rough' in gardens near her. Do you want me to get details for you??

Marlowe

Hi, sorry for the delay. The lady pm'd me a private message and a photo but the facial markings are quite different. Marlowe has a very distinctive nose and quite a high white brow but the cat she saw doesn't. Really sorry but I'm close to you so have been and still will keep a look out. on all the cat sites. I'm sure that someone is caring for him but a shame that they haven't checked for a chip. Hope that your boy gets back to you and sorry that this one was a false alarm.

Thank you for checking, that's really appreciated - you'd be surprised, or not, how many people send me photos of tabbies asking if its Marlowe. My vet thinks he's been taken in by someone too. Thank you for keeping an eye out for him, its really appreciated.

No problem at all. He is actually the spitting image of one of mine but my one is a girl. I'm sure prople who 'rescue' cats mean well but if only they would check beforehand it would save so much heartache. Everything crossed that your boy gets home. x
