Circumstances:	Fred went out in the night (cat flap tracked him exiting at 19:45) as part of his usual routine.
Other info:	Fred is a big cat.

I am sure saw a fluffy cat of this colour on the the ring road on Sunday morning about 9.30/10am in that area. Sadly it had been hit and was not moving, but I was unable to stop due to traffic. :( There was no sign later on, so hoping someone else was able to stop?

Could you also be any more specific about where on the ring-road? A pin on Google maps would be very helpful.

I will check with my partner later to see if he can remember the exact spot, we were heading for the Aldermaston road roundabout and it was after the A33 roundabout.

I cant post a google pin. If you were heading from the A33 roundabout towards Aldermaston roundabout it was just after all the slip roads from A33 roundabout end. On the Aldermaston bound side. Slightly to the west of where your pin is. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the information. We've had other similar reports elsewhere, so it's sounding like he's been hit by traffic. Unfortunately the local authority and none of the local vets seem to have a record of him being brought in by anyone, so we're still not clear.
