Markings:	Flattened shell, looks like he's been through it.
Circumstances:	I have several tortoises which I bring in during the winter. I could not find Fred, and presumed he must have dug down to hibernate. Yet all the tortoises have now come out of hibernation, yet there is no sign of Fred, so I'm assuming that he managed to escape the garden, before hibernation set in.
