LOST
Owen
Name: Owen
Breed & Species: Siamese cat
Colour: Seal-point
Went missing: 11 years ago
(13 October 2012 at around 11:00hrs)
Location: top end of Winter Gardens Way Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 8 years old
Sex: Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: No
Markings: He has a black splodge across his nose and a kink in the tip of his tail - he is a Siamese / Eqyptian cross
Circumstances: I took him out into the garden to familiarise him with the area. He hid under the bamboo plant at the end of the garden where I thought he would be safe for 2 minutes whilst I took the rubbish out. When I went back to get him I couldn't find him - my garden is very small but there is some under growth just outside the back gate where the bins are where I believe he must have been whilst I was looking for him. As he was new he had not yet learnt to come to my call like my other cat. We have searched the garden and the bin area numerous times but we could not find him and we could not hear his yowl which is very loud.
Other info: He has no identity tags as we had only just got him and unfortunately we have no photo.

I received a call to say my cat had been found locally. I really couldn't believe it as he has been missing for 4 months. To my total surprise when I arrived at the finders home I immediately saw it was my lost cat! The finder was wonderful and had taken him in over night and feed him. He was quite healthy and a good weight considering and hasn't stopped purring yet!

Nice to see a good news story - if only he could talk!
