Circumstances:	I hadn't shut the viv door properly. He will probably have sensed the fresh air from the cat flap and gone out that way.
Other info:	About 1.5 metres long. Very healthy when he went missing

He had found his way into a box of tools in the hall and couldn't get out. Thirsty but otherwise seems unhurt.
