Hi, I called this evening, I’m curious if you have found the owner of this cat or if it’s still unknown. It looks like my boy Noah who is missing, possibly transported out of our area, and I wondered if this one could be scanned for a chip as Noah is chipped, thanks

Hi Shalloyd, we're waiting on a call from Cats Protection to get this cat checked for a chip. He's too timid to catch him and take him to the vets. They'll be in touch in the next couple of days. Will update then.

This little one is proving difficult to get close to which means getting its microchip read is going to take a while. I'm persevering though and it's eating two big meals a day so is well fed.

Update: still cannot get close enough to this sweet stray cat to check for a microchip. Continuing to feed him/her and hoping sufficient trust will build to check for a chip

well, I finally got close enough - after months of trust building - to use the chip reader and it seems as though this cat does not have a chip. Sorry to be the bearer of this news to those who have been patiently waiting..
