Found cat: Black cat - Abingdon area, Oxfordshire

Microchipped:	Not sure
Markings:	VERY UNUSUAL DISTINCT MEOW.Almost sounds like a baby crying.
Circumstances:	This cat has been around since late summer.
Other info:	FIrst saw this cat waiting for water to come out of my bathroom water spout. I have given water & food as this cat appears displaced (So desperate for food that she risked coming into a home with 4 resident cats) Definately NOT a feral cat, Lovely coat. I think it is a female. Cat comes through my catflap daily & seeks shelter in our home at night. My own 4 cats seem to tolerate the visits. I would love to reunite this lovely cat with her humans.

There was a black cat called Lucy that went missing on 6th August ref AF2-2252

Thanks Kaye, I have looked at Lucy's missing file.....can't be her. This cat is black as night - no white anywhere. I have checked all black cats on "lost" list & as yet haven't found any matches :(.

I FOUND THE FAMILY!! The cat turned out to belong to my daughter's primary school teacher! Having discovered poster's, I called, kept cat & reunited with cat guardians. It was a beautiful moment & a beautiful feeling. Sorry I didn't update, I totally forgot to update report as I was SO HAPPY to have reunited feline with their loving family. Thank you for this site. It means alot to have a site like this locally.
