Hi Alison. I can’t be 100% sure I took (her) I’m assuming, to the vet to see if she was chipped and she isn’t. I’ve added a photo please take a look.

Is she definitely not chipped? My son’s lost tabby looks very much like her, lost four weeks now. Her only real defining feature is grey/sandy/black tabby with tiny bit of white under chin, and lower lip, is half black half white, but you need to look carefully to see this. (Her tail has a black tip.) There is a very good photo of Mia on this site to compare.Mia is chipped, registered on every site, but we can’t understand, four weeks and still no sign of her.

Hi, I am afraid she is not chipped. I took her to the vet and they scanned her. This cat also does not have a black tip, but I can send you some more pictures for clarification. Sorry to not have better news.

If you could send me some more photos I would be grateful. I was optimistic as it is only 5miles away and the walking with the children and regular driving route for my son so I was thinking the children and his scent. Also I had read that very occasionally chips can migrate etc. The photos would help me to put it to rest and I can file away and continue my search.
