Spooked by a firework and hit by a car. I stood over her to protect her from the traffic while she died of her injuries. She couldn't have been saved. Took her to emergency vets. No microchip. Said would keep her for a few days to see if claimed. I put up posters nearby and put her details on missing pets websites. A few people contacted me, but not their cat. Very sadly, not claimed. RIP puss.
